The Potters House

(PLEASE NOTE: The house is undergoing renovations and will only be taking bookings from 1 May, 2018)

Our house is in the old quarter of Cajarc, very central to restaurants, shops and market. The house is very old dating from the late 1700s. We have tried not to modernise it too much, but it is comfortable with modern amenities. It is possible to bring an extra person who can sleep on a sleeper couch in the TV lounge.
Our apartment on the first level of our house is comfortable and spacious. There is a bedroom and en suite bathroom. You have a small TV and reading lounge on the landing and a bigger lounge, kitchen and dining area. WIFI, DVD and English TV.
Guest Access

Guests have their own front door. The whole upstairs is available exclusively to guests. They are welcome to join us in the courtyard to relax and BBQ should they want to.

Interaction with Guests

We live in the downstairs section of the house. We are available to give touristic advice and bed and breakfast guests will have breakfast prepared for them in the downstairs kitchen or courtyard. We have a pottery studio where guests could take a short pottery course should they wish to!

The Neighborhood

Our house is in one of the oldest streets of Cajarc. It is the street that takes one down to the old port, now a lake. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful. The Cajarc allotment gardens on the river banks are a delight. There are fourteen restaurants in Cajarc. One of them, the "Allee des Vigne" has a Michelin mention and for those foodies out there, it's the place to go!

Getting Around

The best way to see the Lot and Celé valleys is by car. Clients should hire a car at the airport or train station. We do have bicycles available for those who want to see the valley the quiet way. Parking is fifty meters away on the riverside.
